Hard Reset
Quickly restore access to Cronus Zen if the device ever crashes with an error code or becomes corrupted. Also used to determine if there is a fault and why.
The first thing you need to know is that your Cronus Zen has a 90 Day warranty. If it develops a fault of any kind we will replace it with a brand-new model, so do not worry if you run into any issues, these things can happen in electronics but it's important for you to know that we have your back!

ZEN HARD RESET
A Hard Reset will reset your Zen to factory defaults and wipe all memory slots. You can backup your GamePack GCI profiles and any MK Profiles including mapping and tuning codes. You cannot backup scripts from memory slots as they have already been compiled into bytecode. You should have a copy of the original .gpc file as your backup.
If you purchased a pre-programmed Zen with the GamePacks of your choice, it was already given a hard reset and full test so a hard reset should not be necessary.

- With nothing connected to the Zen, press and hold down both P1 and P2 buttons together (the two large blue buttons either side of the OLED screen) - don't let go!
- Connect a micro-USB cable from Zen's CONSOLE/PC USB Port (micro-USB) to your Windows PC
- Keep both the P1 and P2 blue buttons held down for at least 4 seconds until the Zen RGB LEDs start to flash RED, GREEN, and BLUE.
- If successful, the Collective Minds gear head logo will display on the Zen OLED Message Screen 🙂

BAD OLED SCREEN
If your LED screen is showing no output after a hard reset, sadly it means your Zen has developed a fault. You should return it to the original point of purchase for a new replacement under its warranty.
