Step 3 - Mapping and Tuning

You only need to use this step if you are planning on changing any of your mapped buttons or you want to use a different dpi/sensitivity than the default profiles from Step 2.

Mapping

All game profiles are set with binds that we recommend for most users. If you wish to change any bind simply double click any bind you wish to customize. Here the bind you are customizing will show "Listening".

Press the keyboard key or mouse button you would like to use. Once complete the bind will change to the keyboard key or mouse button you have just pressed. As you can see in the picture above RS / R3 was set to "Listening" and in the picture below the "E" key was assigned to RS / R3 by pressing the "E" key on the keyboard.

Should you change your mind when setting binds or you would like to make changes you can accomplish this easily and quickly. First, you will need to set the bind to listen. Once a bind is "listening" holding the Escape key will cancel a bind and holding Backspace will clear a bind. Alternatively, you may just select another key to use in the place of the existing one.

Aim Settings

In this section, you are able to set how your mouse influences movement on the right analog stick ingame. All profiles are tuned for a mouse set to a 250 Polling Rate and 4000 DPI. When deviating from these settings mouse movement ingame may feel either too slow, fast, floaty, or stutter.

If changing the DPI on a mouse you will need to adjust the Sensitivity in the "Tuning" section to account for the increase of information your mouse will be receiving. A DPI higher than 4000 will produce faster movement while a lower DPI provides slower movement.

In this example, we will use a DPI of 10000 on the Fortnite profile from Step 2. To make sure that movement isn't too fast we will need to reduce the "Sensitivity" located in the "Tuning" section in MK Settings. Simply change the default value of "50.00" to "28.00" and then press "Enter" on your keyboard. You will see the position of the slider move to the left notifying you the change has been made. This lowers how sensitive your Zen reacts to the mouse ensures you are still able to make tiny corrections, maintaining accuracy while still having the ability to make large movements or flick shots when desired to do so. To finalize the settings click the "Finalize Layout" button on the left of MK Settings.

Changes to MK Settings can be tested without finalizing a layout when the Zen is connected to both your console and PC at the same time.
