Cronus scripts are written in an open-source code format using a language called GPC (similar to C#), allowing for greater flexibility for more advanced users.
The ability to access the source code gives more advanced players the power to fully customize their gaming experience. They do however require a certain level of technical expertise to use effectively.
This is ideal for more advanced players who have a specific playstyle or desire a more precise experience.
For those interested in delving deeper into GPC development, we have created an advanced GPC Developers Guide. It provides a comprehensive overview of GPC syntax, data types, and functions, as well as advanced development techniques.
You may be surprised to know that while the Cronus Zen device does provide the platform for GPC scripting, we don't actually provide any scripts other than examples you will find in THE MOD LIBRARY or the GPC Developers Guide. Rather, they are created and shared freely by awesome members of the Cronus Community who have become experts in the Cronus GPC scripting language. These community members not only share their incredible knowledge freely, but they have also created a vast collection of scripts that cover a wide range of games and features.
