Device Disconnected

  • The USB cable is not connected to the PROG USB port.
  • The USB cable is faulty - try another.
  • The PC USB port isn't getting enough power - try a powered USB hub.
  • You are using a Mac - BootCamp won't work with newer M1/M2 chipsets. You need to use VMware Fusion Technology Preview 2023 👉Free Trial.
  • As a last resort try a Hard Reset.
  • If none of these solutions worked, the unfortunately your Cronus Zen has developed a fault. Scroll down to the Warranty Instructions for what to do next.

Device Connected but not responding

  • You're using an old firmware that doesn't work with Zen Studio 
  • Go to the Device panel and click on the Find Device button.
  • If that doesn't work, simply unplug and reconnect the PROG USB cable.
  • As a last resort try a Hard Reset.
  • If none of these solutions worked, the unfortunately your Cronus Zen has developed a fault. Scroll down to the Warranty Instructions for what to do next.

Zen Studio Not Opening

Your internet provider might be blocking our server because of tight security.

Use a VPN to get around it. We suggest trying ProtonVPN – it's free! 😊

Programming Error

  • Corrupt Zen Studio files. Go to Tools > Reset Zen Studio.
  • The script you are programming may be faulty.
  • You shouldn't ever see this error with GamePacks.
  • As a last resort try a Hard Reset.

Still Not Working? 😲

Didn't have luck with the troubleshooting steps? It's possible your Zen has developed a fault. DON'T PANIC!

Here's Your Game Plan:

  1. Roll Back: Revert back Beta.50 cronus.support/fw
  2. Warranty Wonders: Bought directly from cronus.shop? The warranty is between 90 days and 1 year depending on the package you purchased. But if you snagged yours from another store like GameStop, you might have a 30 day warranty. Sweet deal if you've just unboxed. Within 30 days? You're set for a new replacement or a refund, whichever you prefer.
  3. Passed the Warranty Deadline? We've Got a Plan B: This Out-of-Warranty Service is here to the rescue. Doesn't matter when or where you got it - we’ve got you covered!
